With kid 4, I used the Avent Isis handpump, but that was just in case I wanted to run errands or see a movie and needed one or two bottles around.<Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09638857079865671979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6154313443548526368.post-72468295433634174502007-12-09T08:57:00.000-08:002007-12-09T08:57:00.000-08:00p.s. It's going great. It hurt for about 6 days straight and then again for a few days after that, but then it seriously goes away. Just stick with it, get a lactation consultant to watch you do it in the hospital, take her corrections and teaching, and do Bird On A Linehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13024182779329894804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6154313443548526368.post-54647063934232307262007-12-09T08:24:00.000-08:002007-12-09T08:24:00.000-08:00I nursed all three of my kids for different length...I nursed all three of my kids for different lengths of time. I am glad that I did. Don't give up after the first month - it is way easier after that. If you feel like giving up call the hospital for a lactation nurse. It really is worth it.

PROS:
- It's free (formula is spendy)
- It's always ready
- You get some serious bonding time with the baby
- It is the healthiest Debyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00961489652611141789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6154313443548526368.post-35395824755128776622007-12-08T09:52:00.000-08:002007-12-08T09:52:00.000-08:00I was weired out by breastfeeding right up until t...I was weired out by breastfeeding right up until the moment we started, but now I find it strangely empowering. I'll give you my two cents on the working/pumping thing next time I see you.Alissa Maxwellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01450626106842995289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6154313443548526368.post-33110700445113803482007-12-07T16:39:00.000-08:002007-12-07T16:39:00.000-08:00I'm with Jen. Also, it makes those middle of the night feedings simple - no roaming about the house looking for things and warming up things. Roll over, pop baby on, and you're good to go!

I pumped for Zippy (went back to work when she was 4 weeks old - ugh!) for 14 Little Thingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09398537411371530452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6154313443548526368.post-39110168563714187422007-12-07T14:14:00.000-08:002007-12-07T14:14:00.000-08:00Ummm... can he be involved by changing diapers? ;)...Ummm... can he be involved by changing diapers? ;)

I nursed, and the best part is it's really a lot less work. Less to carry around, less to clean up. Even when you pump.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14182930303545312702noreply@blogger.com
