Yesterday we took Ben to the pumpkin patch in Terrebonne to see what it was about. We also took our dog Charlie who has been neglected due to the baby. We were going to walk the corn maze but we opted to get a funnel cake, caramel apple and steamed corn on the cob.
The pumpkin patch was more fun for us, I guess. I know that in a year things will change and I can hardly wait to see how this kid turns out. But I must remember to enjoy this stage cuz before I know it, he will be off to college!

I've been reading your blog for several months, mostly because I only trailed a few weeks behind you in my pregnancy. A bonus, too, is that your a former Midwesterner, like myself from Iowa.
It was nice to be pregnant with someone and feel normal, despite being round, moody and anxious (especially when you had Ben early! OMG)
When I saw you pop up the paper I thought it would be about time to tell you how unknowingly supportive your posts have been. It was very therapeutic to read your "what they don't tell you." I've read it over and over since I've just recently returned to work. It's been 3 weeks and I still get the weepies.
Ben is fabulously cute ... er ... handsome, btw. I'm sure I'm not the only one enjoying watching him grow up. I had a girl, Maya. Isn't motherhood amazing!?!
