Week 10 Activity: undies & bra

This week's BabyCenter.com activity was to buy new maternity undies and bras. Motherhood had a sale on undies and honestly -- they look and feel just like regular undies. Strange, huh?

I never bought maternity undies. I just stuck with low rise regular undies. I didn't buy special bras either until I was huge and looking for nursing bras. I just got cheapie bras in bigger sizes at Target to take me through until I had a kid stuck to my chest 24 hours a day. I did buy lots of maternity jeans.

Ditto - just buy low rise in a size bigger than normal. then you can still get cute stuff and can wear them later. Same with the bras. Some maternity stuff is a total joke - I'm surprised someone isn't selling "maternity hats" for $10 more than the normal price...

I have never had to buy maternity bras or panties either. Just cute little cotton undies worked just fine. Although, I have already had to special order bras this time....they don't make a size for me in the stores. :0( Ah! The joys of pregnancy! The larger the top, the smaller the bottom looks!

Towards the end I finally got some nursing bras, but otherwise ditto with the other readers. :)

I also really liked the "seam free" stuff because for some reason I was really itchy. Which meant nothing really "cute" was very comfortable. Sigh...
