Today, I started my journey to become a size 10. My goal is by Benjamin's birthday to be down to a size 10. Yea, I know, I really can't diet because I'm breastfeeding but I can eat better things like fruits, veggies, whole grains and lean protein. Basically, anything that is processed I'm staying away from. At my OB appointment, I only had 12 pounds to go. Now, I just have 10 to go. My goal is to start weight class at the gym twice a week and walk with the baby to tone up. I wish I could join Chubby Mommy Running Club but when I try, it's during Ben's nursing time. I have tried to talk my husband into walking the butte (he definitely put on sympathy pregnancy weight) but he is too tired so alas, Ben and I will try to walk Monday - Friday after his 9 a.m.ish feeding.
I did hit the gym for weight class today which was awesome. I came home refreshed and ready for the day. Too bad my husband is working.
The sad thing is I will have to buy some new work pants to get me through until I'm back in pregnancy clothes.
Wish me luck! My goal is to weigh in each Sunday!

If you want to come try Stroller Strides with all the other mommys and kids we'll be at the Butte @ 9:15 am on Monday, Wed. & Thursday. Come check it out for free! We'd love to meet you. (www.strollerstrides.net/bend)
Let me know anytime you want to walk the Butte and I'll take a break. I need to take better advantage of those showers at work anyways...
Have you looked at the Baby and Me classes at Juniper? I LOVED the Pilates class and have friends who swear by the spin class on Thursdays. Great time to connect with other moms, get some exercise in, and Ben can hang out with you. Plus, nobody cares if he cries the whole time or you have to do an emergency feeding in the middle of class.
Keep at it, girl! Between breastfeeding and working out I've lost all of my (and then some) weight! Yippee!
